This application is for independent chilli growers in various parts of Africa to be part of an organised approach to earn an income for the chillies they grow.
It caters for 2 user types, growers and warehouses, in managing many aspects of this concept from learning how to grow, to tracking deliveries and amounts.
This mobile app is built on a standard and basic Android backbone. The goal was to supply the farmers and warehouse managers with an Android phone that has the app already installed on it. It also has an easy to use content management system to be able to update learning materials and view data and reports.
The app ensures that the right procedures are followed by incorporating a learning system. With every step of the growing process and season, the farmer has to go through simplistic learning materials, and a small quiz in order to proceed to the next step.
