Designing a website or app does not only include a pretty front-end design. It includes many hours of painstakingly researching the potential users, creating user start-to-end flows, many wireframe sketches and low to high fidelity prototypes. Besides producing the visual creative for projects, my technical know-how and innate ability gets me closer to the bigger picture very fast. I also work closely with developers during testing The timeline can vary from a couple of weeks to months depending on the direction taken.
With an initial kick-off workshop, I work together with stakeholders to effectively point out pain points and problem areas in the company’s visual identity and other key problem areas that influence the efficiency of their designs.
From there I devise a proposed action plan for the business. Action items could include small but powerful visual updates to the brand identity, the adoption of specific online tools, weekly design feedback sessions or workshops with designers, pre-designed templates for regular designs, etc.
An accurate but powerful visual identity is crucial in attracting the correct audience to your brand. I work very close with my clients, asking a multitude of questions in order to conceptualise the most impactful and relevant brand collateral. My empathic ability allows me to consider and understand most aspects of a brief in order to deliver the correct message.
